How to generate UAN no. By Adhaar/PAN

Hello friends, Today I will tell you how can you generate your UAN no. By your Adhaar card/ PAN card.

If you have forgotten your UAN Or you have left the job but you don't have your UAN then you can generate your UAN simply at your mobile or computer by your Adhaar/PAN card number.

What is UAN?

The employees provident fund organisation(Epfo) has introduced the universal account number(UAN) for members. The number allows portability of pf account from one employer to another without depending on any employer for withdrawal of EPF balance. Employees can check their pf balance or pension balance by UAN.

Employees get their UAN on the payslip generally and employees can generate UAN as well by below method. 

Follow the steps carefully....

Step 1. Go to the website of EPFO https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

Step 2.On the website, you will find the button "know Your UAN" as mentioned image below

Click on the button "know Your UAN"

Step 3. When you will click on the button "know Your UAN", then you will get the page same as below.

Enter any mobile number and fill the captcha and click on the submit button. You will receive an OTP, enter the OTP and click on validation button.

 

Step 4. If OTP validate successfully then on the next page you will enter you Name, your Date of birth and your adhaar number then click on the button "show my UAN".

Finally you will get your UAN on the screen then you have to activate your UAN also.
